Welcome to The Melbourne Chorus, a dynamic and award-winning women’s chorus.

Melbourne Chorus is a Chapter of Sweet Adelines International, the largest organization for women singers in the world, with a membership of over 25,000 represented in 10 countries around the globe.
Our chorus strives continually for musical excellence through the education of members, dazzling performances and competition. We encourage camaraderie, confidence and community relations while sharing the joy of four part harmony, barbershop style.
We are women of all ages and from all walks of life who love to sing, perform and compete – and have fun doing it!
We are thrilled to have won the 2011 Region 34 mid-size chorus award, plus second place overall and the prized ‘most improved’ award at the National Barbershop Championships, held in May 2011 in Newcastle.
Can it get any better? Well yes it can! We’re off to Denver, Colorado in October 2012 to compete in the international finals of the mid-sized chorus competition at Harmony Classic. We will represent our country at this prestigious event and we’re bursting with pride and excitement!
