The Melbourne Chapter of Sweet Adelines International attracts members from as far as 100km away; busy women who come in all shapes and sizes, all ages, and from all walks of life.
The first Sweet Adelines Chorus chartered in Australia, the Melbourne Chorus began its vibrant history in 1982, and has won many awards since then. Besides performing in our own shows and for corporate, community and private events, we compete seriously to win in our region, and to keep raising the bar in our craft!

Sweet Adelines International
Sweet Adelines International inc (SAI) is a worldwide organisation committed to advancing the musical art form of barbershop harmony, through education and performance. SAI was formed in 1945, and its headquarters are in Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA.
SAI is the largest women's singing organisation in the world with more than 25,000 members in 10 countries around the world. In Australia, there are over 1,000 women singing in 28 choruses spread around the country.
